they’re doing construction in my office this week…..full out, putting up a wall type/sheet rock construction. Why? cuz they thought no one would be here (in an office of four dozen people). Ummm…no, we, who had our vacation denied, or are departing this place before the new year and want to take our leave with us. Or even those of us that are actaully trying to get work done for our clients (that are still on vacation btw), yeah, we are here…..but nope, the construction continues anyway.

At least my manager is taking the right attitude “Well, I guess we wont be getting in a shred of productivity in for the rest of the year. Make the most of your lunch breaks. And maybe burn up what’s left of your sick leave.”
